Back in Aug. of 94, around 9:30 pm, I was in my back yard relaxing and looking up at the stars when I noticed a light moving across the sky from east to west. Thought it was probably a low flying aircraft but I watched it, then I saw another light coming from the south and heading north. I turn my head to the left, which would have been east and I see a trapezoid, frosted mauve looking craft. Yeah it was late evening but I could see the color and I think that was due to the city lights. I was excited, had I seen a real ufo or was this something from our military. The next day this plain ole citizen called the airport, said I had seen something in the sky last night and wanted to know if they knew of anything going on above the skies of Portland then I called an airforce number they gave me and those people gave me a number in Wash. state where I could report seeing unknown flying things. Felt really stupid by then, so I made a small painting that day of what I saw over Portland the night before.
