Time: Approx: 1:30 a.m.
On February 9, 2013, my two friends and I were just getting home to Goulais River, Ontario Canada just 20 minutes north of Sault Ste Marie at about 1:30 a.m.
We were standing outside enjoying the stars when suddenly our faces and the neighborhood lit up orange and we seen something which seemed very close came down from the south sky to earth and disappear.
It was very bright, but didn’t make a sound, and an hour or so later we had seen it again.
We told a few friends the next day and they mentioned people from B.C. having similar things like this on Facebook.
Can anyone explain what this could have been? I am very curious.

The nite that made me a believer!
On January 21,2011 at the time of 18:24:50, my wife and I was laying on our bed and watching a movie. There had a very bright light on my front yard that I noticed on my TV monitor which I used for my security cameras.I did not know what I was looking at because I have never seen nothing like this. It was so amazeing to have this happened to me, I have never seen a light so bright in my life. This light was round in shape, the light was changing in shape to a star like figure. Than I noticed an image that looked like a person below the light with some type of craft under this person. Than all of the sudden the craft flew right towards my camera and was gone.
I also have a perfect round white circle flying across my backyard recorded. Please contact me for the video, you have to have security software in order to open!
I looked to the west at around 8-8:30 p.m. and saw what looked like a star, but it was moving. It had a redish-orangeish hue to it and there were no lights blinking, no sound. It moved zig-zig across the sky in a linear fashion, from north to south, south to north, then it would fly up straight and disappear, then reappear. Then it would stop and just sit there and after a few seconds, it would start to move again across the sky…again, no flickering lights like a plane or jet, no lights/search light from a helicopter (it was up rather too high to be a helicopter; however, couldn’t tell you how high it was), no sound. At one point a small plane was heading toward its direction and as it do so, the object moved away from the plane in a linear fashion. After the plane was gone, it moved back toward the north without turning. It just moved back to position in that linear/straight fashion. It moved, disappeared, reappeared…and then it turned to a bright, white light and took off at a high speed to the southwest – I said OMG. It wasn’t a plane, jet, or helicopter..that’s all I know- definitely not normal.
I have seen meteors and “falling stars” (which it wasn’t), and this was not a plane, jet, or helicopter, or satellite (unless satellites are able to move back and forth across the sky in a linear fashion like that). It looked like a reddish light (as bright as a star; no blinking light, no sound), maneuvering back and forth from the north to south, south to north, and then would hover for several seconds (looked like it was over the Everglades – that’s how far west I live), and it was intelligently controlled, as when the small plane headed toward it, it moved to the south at a high speed to get away from the plane, so….like I said, it was a UFO in my opinion, and after my being on this planet for 52 years – have never seen anything like it – makes me wonder what or who is flying around in our skies at night and for what purpose (my roommate also witnessed it, as I called her outside to see it, too). It was there for approx 10 minutes, then took off at high speed to the SW.
We were driving down a hill near our house and noticed lights 3 lights hovering off in the distance, maybe a half mile away and 1000 feet high. It was one red light on the left and two white lights to the right. All solid no flashing. Lights seemed connected. They hovered in the same exact spot for about 45 seconds. The seemed to start moving forward very slowly until they passed by our position. We pulled a U -turn to see where the lights were headed and followed them for about 5 seconds before they shot east at an extremely fast speed. We have never seen anything move quite like it. We both agree it was definitely not a standard aircraft. It was very low to the ground and moved in an extremely irregular fashion. Hoping someone else saw it as well. No other aircraft visible in sky at time of sighting.
