On the deck of my childhood home, I was leaning back against the railing while gazing straight up at the stars. It was a very clear night, the Magellenics were quite visible. From my perspective, the point at the top of the roof of the house was just above my gaze (i.e., in the direction of my forehead in reference to the eyes) and dead-center in the middle of my field of view. A light emerged from over the top of the house at what seemed to be an extremely high altitude. It made no noise, so I thought it might be a satellite. But then a “feeling” of sorts came over me during which the thought went through my mind, “You’re going the wrong way – turn around!” As if in response to the thought, the object did exactly that – just like a yo-you that never fully stops, it was going one direction one moment and the complete opposite direction the very next. It disappeared behind the top of the house from whence it came and I never saw it again (that I’m aware of).

I was coming down 1187 from Crowley toward Benbrook and I saw 3 different sets of lights flying low to the ground, even hovering off to my left. I kept watching and they would go together and become more disc appearing and separate and swirl around and flash different colors of lights and it continued for probably about 5 minutes or less and they flew off toward the west, and before long they came back toward me and soon after I saw several jets flying after them until I lost sight of them. They were so cool to see, nothing like I’ve ever seen before flying around in the sky. I was excited, I just pulled over on the side of the road so I could watch them as long as I could. I was happy to hear several reports the next day of other people in the area also seeing them. I didn’t know this network exists until tonight, so I didn’t know who to report to that I had also seen them.
