Wednesday 4.30pm – A MABLETHORPE man has contacted the Leader with claims of extraordinary UFOs recently sighted in the skies over the town. The man, who asked not to be named, visited the Leader office last week to explain what he witnessed was ‘beyond belief’.

it was canadas day so we had fireworks we were setting the last one off then after it was just about done an object apeared
-it was very high in the sky(so it was hard to determine the size)
-two lights beside eachother (lights possibly belonged to another craft)
-faster than any plane (that we see in our area because our house is a spot where planes fly over)
-no sound
-we took a couple pictures but the object did not appear
at first it looked like a sattelite but it clearly wasen`t
the flight path was completely straight

It was about 23:10 Saturday 6-4-2011 when my wife took the dog out back. I was on the couch where I had been all day with a touch of a stomach flu. Within about a minute of her going outside she came back in demanding me to get up and come outside to see “something is wrong with the sky”. I begrudgingly got up to go out back and investigate. When I came out she was at the end of the pool deck facing the eastern horizon and pointing in that direction demanding to look. As I came out of the door, past the stoop and at the end of the deck I noticed numerous large red elliptical shaped objects in the eastern sky. These objects were moving from a south to north direction at about the speed of a slow moving prop plane or helicopter, maybe a bit slower actually. These objects were red in color, with no pulsating lights, no strobe, no change in color, no flickering etc. They were just a constant red glow. The objects all moved at the same rate of speed, same direction and at the same altitude. They never drifted apart from one another always maintaing the same distance from one another. They were very large and you could not have missed them much, much larger than landing lights or marker lights of planes etc. When these objects came to a certain point in the sky, roughly above my neighbors house, the lights would turn off. No fading or flickering, again, just like a light switch and they were out. I followed one to that point and when the light went out I could make out an outline of a rectangular like shape briefly before it was obscured by trees.
If I had to judge I would say the altitude was between 1,000 and 5,000 feet. Speed would be less than 100 knots and approximate location (direction or landmark it was following) would have been centered over Memorial Drive, give or take.
I know Memorial Drive is a common approach land mark for planes flying into TIA however, these were not planes. There was absolutely no noise coming from them and the amount that were there would have made a racket. In fact, it was oddly quiet for the city on a Saturday night further adding to the no noise.
All in all I would say that there was approximately 25 or so of the lights. They seemed organized yet random, if you catch my drift? One grouping had a formation, 5 objects, like geese but without the lead bird.
This was my first ever experience of anything that I couldn’t put a rational explanation to. It left my wife and I a bit excited, to say the least. My wife took several pictures on her phone but only one came out. I think she was shaking so the objects appear smeared. If you notice in the upper part of the picture you see many more smaller red “orbs” I had not noticed these until today.
I was driving home from a friends house in the middle of a sunny bright day and while climbing up a hill in my car I saw something move in the corner of my eye in the sky. I was looking towards LAX airport but a few thousand feet or so above it. At first it looked like a meteor falling because of the distance it was and the whitish light emitting off of it, but then all of a sudden it came to a sudden instant stop. When it stopped it looked like a star that is visible in the day, it didn’t look like an aircraft at all. Then I pulled over and asked myself if I had just seen what I saw? I continued to look up to see if I could still see it and then what I thought was a visible day star just above the object I just saw, instantly moved very quickly to the right and stopped, I then saw a third star like object move to another position. The position of all three of them ended in a triangle shape. I also noticed as they changed position it let off a metallic glare when the sun hit them and that’s when I thought to myself I can’t believe I’m seeing this right now. I had wished someone were with me to assure myself I wasn’t going crazy. The incident only lasted a matter of thirty seconds or so and as quickly as they made the triangular shape they speed off out of sight in a matter of a quarter of a second in the same direction. The flew off so fast I knew it wasn’t man made and all I could think about is that it almost looked like they playing with each other in the air, like dancing together the way they moved in such perfect cue and simultaneously.

Sitting on the balcony of Springs Towers ocean front in North Myrtle Beach on my laptop. I was downloading a program and smoking a cigarette at the same time. I sat back in my chair and when I looked up I saw 4 bright orange lights but they all lit up one by one. I stood up to knock on the balcony door to alert my brothers while looks at the objects the entire time and they started to go off same way they came on, one by one. About 15-20mins later at 10:00pm – 10:05pm I heard loud engine noise in the sky over the ocean that sounded like aircraft. I continued to hear them for another 10 mins until I saw two small but loud aircraft flying torwards the part of the ocean front where I saw the orange ufo’s. They turned and started flying back where they came from but went off in formation inland over the city. It’s now 10:19pm and you can still hear them off and on.

My first incounter was last year (10-2010) it was at night, around 11:30pm and i was in bed watching tv and the blinds was open because i like to see the Airplanes flyn by. everytime a Airplane go by; I would look out the windows and when i saw these lights, i thought it was a Airplane, until i got up and looked out the window and saw an UFO flickering, white, blue, green, red, purple, a yellowish orange color and then it turned completly black. it was right in the back of my house, just in the air. I grab my camera in starting taken pictures and filmimg it. I woke my husband, sister and my neice up; to come in wittnes what im seeing. I wasnt scared at all, it just seem so crazy because; even do the Air Force; tries to tell you, that not a such thing! then you see it with your own eyes, is a blessing. i dont know why it choose to stop behind my house but it did. Ive been taking pictures and recording since then. I have over 80-pictures and around 30 recordings. They know im taking pictures and recording of them! sometime they’ll put on a good show. I’ve notice right after that, everywhere i went; i will see as ther appear; looking like a star; they will follow. About a month ago, i was on my way home in seen one by the moon and i wanted to take a picture of it, and i really couldnt get a good picture, so i continue to try to focus on it, and the process i started to take the camera, everywhere i saw particiles, which lead down to the ground and right infront of my window. About an hour later, i got in the bed, then an the corner of my eyes, i saw what looked like a white piece of glitter going by me. I asked my husband to turn off the lights, so i can see better. i took pictures that night and recorded what i caught; little balls was coming out everywhere. sometimes i know their is there without turning on my camera and i took picture last night and recorded; outside and in my room and there they was. I’m not scared, but i do want to know, whats goin on. I’m asking for help; because this truely mean something. Thank You
