My name is (name removed). I’m from Yorkton, Saskatchewan Canada. Me and my buddy were cruising around, and we noticed a reddish/orange light just hovering in the west side of the city.
I kept driving and he kept his eyes on it. We followed it to the outskirts of town and by the time we got abit closer, it started to get higher into the sky and before long it vanished.
It wasn’t a plane or helicopter as my friend thought it may have been, it was kind of long in width. We don’t even have a major airport.
That would’ve been the 2nd time I’ve seen that, as the 1st time I seen it was back in October/November. I told people and they thought I was crazy.
Anyways I Googled what I seen and it brought me to your webpage.

Hello, I saw a red orange object in the sky at about 9:15 pm on New Years Eve December 31, 2012 in Fraser Lake B.C. It was not a plane.
It was coming from the north going south, then it seemed to stop and went east.
It was large and bright. I called my husband and both grandkids, we all seen it.

Hi, I live in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver and I was just outside having a cigarette when I noticed a reddish/orange light in the sky.
At first it looked like a normal airplane until I noticed it had no blinking red and blue lights.
It was just reddish and heading in a ESE direction. It looked like it might have been over West Point Grey or maybe UBC. It was mostly moving in a straight line with very minor deviations until it just stopped and hovered for about 2 minutes.
It then slowly gained altitude straight up, no sided to side motions at all and it lost luminosity and it was gone. I looked around for another 5 minutes or so but didn’t see it again.

Time: Approx: 7:35 p.m.
I too saw the red lights in the sky last night (November, 7, 2012) around 7:35 p.m. in the eastern sky over Newmarket, ON.
Not sure what I saw, but there were a lot of them. Didn’t actually count, but there were at least 15-20 at that time.
I watched for 5-6 minutes and they were all definitely moving in a northwesterly direction, but slowly. It looked like a string of red and amber Christmas lights in the sky.
Strangest thing I’ve ever seen. Just before 8:00 p.m. when I arrived back at home, all but 2 had disappeared.
We stood and watched these 2 for about a minute and they just “went out”. I would love to know what that was.

Report 1 – Hello, my name is (name removed) and I have seen strange lights in the sky twice now.
The first one I saw on Canada Day and was pretty much exactly as you described, also heading west it was reddish/orange, more orange than red moving slowly and slowly dying out.
This was by Saint Gregory’s Church by Sobeys Plaza in Cambridge.
Report 2 – The second one I saw was much different, non moving, but blinking different colors with small little lights around it, and this was just across the street from the original place that I saw the first one.
This second sighting happened just last night which prompted me to investigate a little.
Three YouTube videos and Google this is how I found your website. I describe my first sighting to a friend of mine who replied that he also has seen these reddish/orange lights twice, is there anything else you know about these lights or anybody else seeing them?

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Two co workers were standing in the parking lot of a government building facing north when they called to another co-worker and myself.
We looked at the sky and what appeared to be a falling red/orange globe that stopped mid air the took off heading west at high speed. Sorry by the time we got out our smart phones it was long gone.

Shape of Objects: Round and large.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: My parents phoned to say there were some strange lights going across the sky. At approximately 7:20 p.m. they saw two large red/orange lights moving close together.
The lights appeared in the south and moved toward the north. They eventually started heading west then suddenly disappeared.
We looked outside to see the third light following the exact same path. It looked red to the naked eye, but appeared orange in the photos we took.
After this third light disappeared like the first two, a fourth light appeared in the same starting position as the others.
It followed a similar path as the other three lights, but it was moving markedly faster than the previous lights.
Once again, it turned to the west and just disappeared.
They were all completely silent and moved slowly across the sky. They were large enough that we expected to hear some sound emitting from them but nothing. The lights appeared to be flashing or glowing brighter then darker.
No others were sighted after the fourth light.
The photos and couple seconds of video are poor quality, but let me know if you would like them.

Time: Between 8:27 p.m. – 8:31 p.m.
Hi there. On September 16, 2012 between 8:27 p.m. – 8:31 p.m. I saw these red/orange lights moving across South Cambridge. They moved one at a time in a due east direction.
They were about 1 minute apart and each one glowed red/orange like a fireball, but without the flame. Just a solid sphere of light, but moving between orange and red.
They did not blink like a plane tail light and they were silent.
They moved in what I could estimate was the exact same line behind each and were relatively low or were moving very fast.
I suspect low because it wasn’t long until I couldn’t see them move out of sight. Had they been higher like a plane, I could have tracked them for longer.
The first one moved out of sight and then approximately 60 seconds later the next would appear from over the trees in the park on Saginaw Road.
I wonder if you have any idea what these could be or seen them yourself?
