Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi, my name is (name removed) from Montreal. I want to tell you my story regarding seeing UFO. I apologize for my English, I am not very good but you will understand.
I was 18 years old when I saw my first UFO. We were in 1977. Back then with my sister and a friend, we were cycling and we had stopped. Suddenly, a red ball came under the sea and stop in front of us, got out of the water and we heard swoosh.
It got bigger in top of us, red like a sun, but no light, no warm. It was there looking at us, and it shut off to make a fire trail with the noise, like a fireworks, but it stopped again and lit up like a ball. It stood up in the air for few seconds and then plunged back into the sea making again the swoosh sound.
It flew away slowly, then faster and disappeared.
The second event was the year after, around midnight, I was with a friend when we saw 9 lights in the sky. Very far, we thought they were stars, but not at all. They were moving slowly and then moving together, one split and moved again slowly then faster.
They were making patterns in the sky. Then one by one they got a slow speed and got faster then disappeared. It was just amazing. I never thought I would see more UFOs.
I am from a small little town called Rimouski in Quebec.
The sky is always dark and we see very well in the sky.
We report the event to the police, but they thought we were not serious.
I said they were laughing, but deep inside I know they were UFOs. Anyway, this is my story.

Hi, I am in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and I just saw a huge blue/green light flash across the sky. I live on the last floor of a 21 floor building and can see pretty far on the horizon.
The first flash was at the northwest of where I am, downtown Montreal. I kept looking to see if it would happen again and there was a second flash right over me that lit the entire sky above.
None of the lights flickered. It was very quiet. My windows are open and I could not hear any sound from it. Can you let me know what you think it is. Other than a transformer. There was no power outage whatsoever.

On Sunday December 23rd 2012, in Montreal Quebec Canada, sometime after dinner time, I saw two consecutive greenish/blue flashes from my window.
It seemed like it came from very low altitude, so weird. Anyone else besides the guy looking out his window from across the parking lot who I know saw it too?

It was 8:15 p.m., January 1, 2013 just now. I was on the back deck and yelled to my husband to come and see.
We could see them clearly 6 red lights in the sky over the island of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, just 15 minutes ago.
Searching the net to see what is going on ? They were following each other.

Hey, we just witnessed two red lights in the sky here in Montreal.
They were so close that it could not have been helicopters nor airplanes because they were low in the sky as well.
One faded away and when that happened, the other red light stopped moving and within a 10-15 seconds the light disappeared slowly upwards.
What was it?

Full Description of Event/Sighting: The following is a cut and paste from a recent email I sent to a friend of mine who was curious about my story, so I decided to share it with you.
I was around 9 years old living in the West Island of Montreal. I have trouble nailing down the actual year but I can guess around 1970 – 71. I was on the main floor of our 2 storey home watching TV when my mom yelled from the upstairs bathroom to let our dogs out to do their business. I opened the sliding thermo pane doors in the kitchen.
After the dogs ran out to the yard, I stepped outside onto the raised concrete patio to wait for them to do their thing. I was on the patio for no more than a few seconds when I looked in the night sky directly above my head.
What I saw was a circular object and it was certainly not the moon. It was silent and not moving. If I could describe the size of the object, it would be comparable to holding a silver dollar (or Canadian Loonie) in your fingers tips at arm’s length against the sky.
I would venture a guess from my days as a novice student pilot that it was probably 1,500 feet overhead. The object was very bright and did not emit light. Actually, the light was contained within the object itself and had a shimmery effect. I watched the object for approximately one minute.
I guess I was waiting for it to display some sign that it was a conventional aircraft or some thing that I could identify with as a 9 year old. There was nothing conventional about this object and I knew that intuitively enough to poke my head inside the house and yell upstairs to my mother “quick come downstairs you have to see this thing”.
My mother would not be taken away from her pre-bedtime routine and yelled something back indicating she was not interested. After my mother’s refusal to witness, I went back to my position and continued to observe the object.
It remained motionless for another 30-45 seconds. What happened next was mind bending and certainly displayed unconventional characteristics. The object, in the blink of an eye, shot straight up and stopped. It had accelerated upward and then came to a resting state for about 4 or 5 seconds.
If you blinked you would have missed it or it was so fast that you might as well have blinked. Going back to my coin comparison, the object was now smaller and comparable to the diameter of a nickel held at arms length in your finger tips, and it was visibly further away.
After another 4-5 seconds,the object did it again and shot straight up and came to a stop. Our little spaceship is now the size of say less than half of what is was before and visibly further away from it’s prior position.
So the object repeated it’s accelerated movement after remaining in a motionless state for 4-5 seconds. Then again it pulsed/shot straight upward and when it stopped it was so high in the night sky that it looked like one of the stars.
Then, after a few seconds, it just blinked and was gone as if it was a light that had been turned off. I remember much of that night like it just happened.

I’ve been receiving many UFO reports during this month – far too many to enter into the database promptly.
Just as an example of what I’m getting, I received a report through Transport Canada regarding:
a bright white light hovering over Mt. St. Hilaire, which is South East of Montreal, at 4AM EDT today (Oct 22). The light remained there for 15-20 minutes and then disappeared.
I spoke with the witness, which was interesting because he doesn’t speak much English and I don’t speak much French, but I got a few more details.
First, he says it occurred at 6 am on October 22, 2012, not 4 am. He says it was definitely not an airplane, and it was not moving. He and his wife live on the 4th floor of an apartment building, and they face Mont-Ste-Hilaire to the east. The object was fairly low, but just above the mountain.
He says it simply vanished at the end of the observation. He also notes that he saw it again two days later, in the exact same location, but that it was cloudy the past few days and never saw anything.
My first thought was that it was astronomical, so I checked star charts and found that Venus was exactly in the right location.
The witness also said that there were two “rays” coming out of the object, which went from south to north. It was difficult for him to describe their appearance.
Anyway, it’s probable that Venus was in fact the culprit, although its disappearance after 20 minutes is a bit problematic.
But this case is about average in information content as far as recent cases go. Not a lot of detail, lots of missing information, but most are starlike in appearance.
And there are hundreds of these reports each month.

Hi there Brian. This past Thursday evening, September 20th 2012 I was outside on my deck at my house around 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. While on my deck I was looking up in the sky and I saw a huge bright white ball, that had hovered for a few seconds without moving, then suddenly it took off and left another huge bright white “tail” then vanished.
It happened very, very quickly. There were no engine/turbine noises whatsoever, and it wasn’t a helicopter or spot light. What I saw happened very quickly and it was very intense. The big round ball of light which seemed to have a “halo” around it, and was very, very impressive, and the jagged “tail” bright light was also very impressive.
I ran inside and told my wife and she was quite intrigued about what I had seen.
Last night (Saturday September 22nd), I called my boss and told him what I saw on Thursday, he actually did a small search on the internet which led me to you. I know what I saw was something extraordinary, I still don’t know what it was, but I think about it every day now.
I am in no way “nuts” like some might think. I don’t drink alcohol nor do I do any kind of drugs etc., and it wasn’t lightning or anything like that. I have worked outside for 25 years, the outdoors is my “office” so to speak.
I just thought I would contact you with what I had seen. I live high up on a hill in the West Island area in a town called Pincourt, let me tell you I’m sure there must have been others who had seen this as it was very, very large and pronounced.

Hi Brian, we live on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River across from Pembroke.
It looked to be directly above the river heading east. I looked at it through the binoculars and that’s exactly what it was, a ball of fire.
