Author: I was driving on Rt 3 in Lowell MA to get to 495 South. While on the highway I noticed 5 spherical objects drifting in formation. I remember thinking that they looked like balls of fire because they were a bright burning orange and yellow color. However, they appeared to be perfect spheres. I pulled over on the highway and snapped a quick photo on my phone. Unfortunately my camera could not zoom and it just looks like dots in the sky. I took the next exit and pulled into a parking lot. This was at 8:02 PM judging by a phone call I made during this sighting. By this time there were only 2 in the sky. One at a time, they slowly decreased in size until they were no longer visible. It did not look like they were moving further away, but rather like they were fading. Which also made me qeustion whether or not this was something on fire, and slowly going out. That is the best way to explain how they were fading. I drove away to get back on the highway and then I look up and see that all 5 are back in the same formation that they were before. I pulled into a closed gas station to get a better look. Next door was a Mcdonalds which had several customers outside looking and filming the objects. We all stayed, staring and discussing what we were seeing until they all faded away again. We stayed a few minutes to see if they would reappear, but they did not. I have checked youtube in hopes of finding someone who has posted a video, but have not found anything on this date. Using my best judgement and logic, I cannot begin to suggest a plausible explanation of what these objects were. I have never seen anything like this before. (Nor had the other people who were standing outside the McDonalds). It may also be important to note that after the incident it became extremely foggy. It was also a fairly cloudy night, so these objects were definitely under clouds. It is hard to judge their height any reference points, but my best guess would be 100-200 ft. above ground. They were drifting very slowly together. They were sporadically aligned, not in a strict formation, but drifting at the exact same speed without changing their relative positions. I hope this dictation is clear enough.

My girlfriend and I were taking our dog out for a walk, when I noticed an object up in the sky flying from SW to NE. It was star-like and flashing and traveling at a very high rate of speed. There was a plane flying in the opposite direction, and at a much lower altitude. This plane was very slow in comparison to the star-like object. It continued to move at a high rate speed until we lost sight of it. It either disappeared or went behind some high altitude clouds. This happened in the matter of a couple seconds.
About five minutes later, we were just finishing up our walk, when we noticed another star-like object traveling across the sky. This object was moving south to north in the northern sky. This object did not flash, was not quite as bright, and moved at a much slower speed than the first object (from where we perceived it). The object appeared to slightly change direction, but went along a generally strait path. We watched it for about 30 seconds until it faded out in the distance.
Then, about three minutes after that we noticed an orange light traveling in the western sky, from north to south. This object seemed to be at a much lower altitude compared to the other two objects. This object traveled in a generally strait direction but it did appear to slightly change direction at times. It also changed speed, sometimes slowing down then speeding back up. We watched it for about 40 seconds, until it disappeared, possibly behind some clouds.
Yesterday 3/08/10, approx 10:30pm, I saw a red light in the sky traveling north to south in the same general area at the first object we saw today. I saw it for about 2 seconds until it disappeared. I wasn’t going to report it, but after the sightings today i felt like it should be noted.
We both are avid sky watchers. Satellites are not typically visible in our area due to light pollution. We don’t think that these were satellites. We wanted to file a report because these were unusual, and the skies seemed to be more active.

During our evening walk, we (three individuals) noticed two rapidly moving objects traveling overhead at about 20,000 to 25,000 feet. Both objects were brightly lit and traveling in tandem by a distance of about a quarter mile. No sound was present and no coloured or blinking lights. We frequently see aircraft and these two objects were not airplanes, nor were they satellites.

I had just gotten into the passenger side of my car, when my daughter asked why the stars were moving so fast. I opened my door and left my car, and gasped at the eastern sky. There were two star-like objects, moving at a great rate of speed, together in perfect unison. To my eyes, there was about a six inch span between them which was maintained the entire time they were within my view. They were bluish-white in color, and the one on the left side was almost twice the size of the one to the right. My daughter and I watched in awe as they raced together through the sky- not as fast as a shooting star, but much faster than anything I’ve ever encountered in the sky before. I called out to my husband to watch, but by the time he got to the car where he could see, they had all but disappeared behind some scraggly pines. We drove out to the main road, where by all rights we had a better view and should have been able to pick them back up, but they were gone. It was about 6:59pm when we saw them, and the sky was losing the last bit of color from the day. Most stars were still one with the sky, with the exception of Polaris and a sliver of moon. The entire ordeal lasted less than two minutes..it was over as abruptly as it began. Just wondering if anyone else witnessed this…or what it possibly could have been? These objects stayed together as if attached- no flashing, no blinking, no red or green lights. Something else to keep in mind.. they appeared to be moving from north to east.. across the sky (roughly southwest) was the Homer City Power Generating Station. Any feedback is appreciated.

I was on Patrol in S.B. Elliot Park for EOG Resources. I went back to the trailer to use the restroom. Usually the area is lit from lights attached to a generator so water trucks can see to pump water into a pond. When I stepped out, I noticed 2 Star like objects moving in the clear sky. They were not blinking, flashing, or anything. They moved in perfect unison and a great speed. They were travelling North North East I believe. I watched them for about 2 min and they disappeared. While this was going on I also noticed a smaller and not as bright one moving pretty fast North west and crossed paths with the two star like objects. I tried to take a picture with my camera phone, but it was too dark. Any feedback appreciated.

Driving home around 9:30, I thought I saw 2 helicopters coming down the coastline. But as they got closer I saw round bright orange objects with colored lights. They were drifting down the coastline, then stopped and stood still. I pulled off the freeway to get a better look. By the time I found a place to pull over, and when I got out of the car, only one object was left. Then, it slowly evaporated. A minute later, the 2nd object rose up from the horizon and just stood still. Then it also slowly just evaporated. (They could have just gone quickly up into space, but it looked like they just evaporated into nothingness). I have told my wife and a couple other people who would not think I was crazy.
My feelings: I knew these objects were not helicopters, and that they were unidentified flying objects.
I would like to see such things again. I keep looking out over the channel all the time now when I drive home from work.
Questions I have: Are they military? Was this a weather phenomenon? Why would aliens want to send these objects down here (to monitor Vandenburg AFB or Pt. Magu Naval Air Station)? Are they spiritual beings? Questions can never be answered I guess…

Large well lite craft with 3 huge light appeared at a very low alltitude and banked hard and lights went out.A dozen very light blue lights moved about the area and circled my location flashing very quickly in a random pattern but never going to far from my location.Large craft 1st spotted reappeared at times just above the treeline to the west.then lights again went out.Blue lights flew directly over my location and what seemed like small craft reveiled they were a very large craft with almost no lights on and the only one on that was on was onthe very edge of the huge craft.the craft was at least a city block long and holding a tight but slow circular pattern around my location.The large craft appeared close and higher above the tree line.one light disappeared as it rotated out of view and another came on large and bright in the center of the craft.Ithought the object was going to pass right over me but it backed away instead and the lights went out again.I could here the roar of a jet approaching.I saw its lights as it passed overhead.All activity seased but started back up not three minutes after the jet left the area.the large craft reappeared 2 lights showing and looked again as if were going to pass right over me.once again the lights went out and i could here the roar of a jet approaching the area again.I saw the jet streak through the area and the activity stopped again.I left the area and saw a large bright object high in the sky.It was located directly over a rural home.i could see folks standing on the front porch and vehicle parking lights on.i stopped to get a pictue of the object above the house.It began moving away and i could easily see it had triangular lights on the bottom but my pictures didnt come out as good as they should have of this slow moving craft.Captured many pictures and some video of these events but they do not do justice to what i personally witnessed.

We live out of the city limits so stars are always clear on a clear night. People in the city of Ottawa usually cannot see the stars due to lights from the city. Anyway, this is the second time I have seen an object as I stood on my deck that is not a plane or stars. Its pretty clear actually. One is very big and a perfect triangle with a light in three places. The other appears smaller but it is much higher up so I don’t know. They just stayed there in the same place the whole time. What I do know is, the smaller one was an elongnated triangle and it was blinking red and blue. I watched it for over an hour. My sons friend who is about 22-23 years old came over and he started showing me different star systems and named them by name. I pointed to the smaller triangle and asked him what was that? He said, “I don’t know, it looks like a ship.” We laughed a little, but we both just kept looking at it. I asked him if he thought what I was seeing as a perfect triangle looked like a ship and he said, “It seems different than stars–maybe”. After a while he left and I starred for maybe a half hour trying to get a better mental picture of the big one and finally went into the house. I felt stange at the time and got a bit light headed looking up for so long. I don’t have cameras that would have taken a good picture.
Now, I am a school teacher and I just pay attention to things. This is not the first time I have seen something like this. I saw a really big triangle one time just over the other side of the river, north of the town bridge this past fall. It just stayed there. I kept looking for information as its hard for me to believe no one else saw this. Well, if they did, they didn’t report it. I figured I should mind my own buisness so never said anything, but now, it seems odd to see it again and this time another one at that. I am going to talk to the tech person at my school and find out what kind of camera to buy to get a good shot for long distance and have it on the ready. My cell phone would not have been able to pick this up so I didn’t bother. Anyway, I just thought someone needed to say something and I’ll keep my eyes open and get a camera. If you have any advice, I’d like to hear it. Its rather spooky because we are a small town of about 18,000 people stretched out all over a pretty big area. I cannot figure what the attraction would be, but I’m telling you I saw those two triangle whatever they were.
