Author: Hi, I was sitting in my back yard facing south east. I live near Cleveland Hopkins airport. I can see planes takeoff and land from my chair. At around 9:30pm I noticed a bright light heading my way from south to north. It moved in a straight line until it reached the southwest end of the airport, then went east -north east over the airport. I watched it until it was just a dot. At first I thought it was a plane until it got closer and looked at it clear as day to be engulfed in light, or ablaze. It looked as though it was checking out the airport. After getting up to look at this thing, I didn’t know what think about what I just saw. About ten minutes later, here it comes again, from the same direction and flight path,except this time there happened to be a plane just taking off from CLE. The pilot had to have seen this. The object then followed the same flight path as the first time. That evening there was a lower cloud deck. It also seemed the object was flying just under that cloud deck. I was purely amazed to see this and for it to happen twice within ten minutes really kind of shook me up. Whether it was the same craft or another one the second time around, I’ll never know. I was outside having a smoke and looking east/southeast or so, 35-50 degrees (guessing here) up and see what I think is a plane in the distance. Just a flashing white light – appearing to be fairly high up – I don’t see the other blinking lights like you see on a jet. It is moving Northest to southwest (left to right) and it is moving fast – the blinks are farther apart than the jets I normally see. It then abruptly changes direction almost back on itself, but not quite, just like a pinball bouncing off a bumper – now going west/southwest to east/northeast (right to left). It abruptly changes directions a few more times then actually follows a circular path which looks like a small loop, makes a few more direction changes, then heads either east or down and vanishes – no more blinking light. I see nothing in that part of the sky but the stars. I’ve never seen anything move like that. Like I said, at first I thouht it was a jet but it was moving too. It was at least a few mile east of me – maybe more. Just a blinking white light in the sky. My feelings at the time were – wow that’s a fast plane then what the f?! What am I seeing? What did I just see? I looked at my watch as soon as it vanished – stopped flasing – not there anymore. I really have no idea what I saw – just sort of dumbfounded.

I work onsite all weekend as I am the weekend manager at a retirment community. I went out to our courtyard to have a cigarette, around 12:30am,and I noticed a large white light that was round and intense. At first I thought it was a helicopter with a spot light, as it appeared to drift a little side to side and seemed to slow down or speed up on it’s trajectory. As the light was overhead, I could hear no noise and I expected the light to dim or go out as it passed over, but it did not. I could not make out any fuselage or such, only a bright round white light. It was just as bright going as it was coming. There were no strobe or colored lights blinking. The intensity of the light was, as I said before, was great. I watch it as long as I could, before the treeline obscured my view.
It has left me stumped with what I saw, so I decided to report it to your site to see if anyone else may have seen the same thing that I did.
This is not the first time I have seen strange objects at night in the Skagit valley. I have had three prior wierd sightings, with corroborating witnesses, however this sighting I was alone.

I just saw this a half hour ago, I was at Longs Pond just outside city limits of Fort Collins. I was on the shore looking out across the water when I noticed a bright light low in the sky coming from the west end of the pond. I observed this light for no more than 3 or 4 min move in dead silence west to east, first it was moving in a straight line, but a little over half way across the pond it seemed to move up and down in a very odd manner as it continued to move east. It was at this point I knew that this wasn’t any aircraft I have ever seen. The way it started moving up and down it seemed as though what ever was in control of this craft was not operating the way it should. I continued watching the craft until it disappeared behind the trees of the east shore on its way toward the Budweiser plant.
traveling with boyfriend, me driving on the 91 frwy from around van buren towards 60 frwy, about a mile or less before they connect. it was slightly dark out and then it was very bright, there was traffic so we were able to look at it. i saw a bright white light the size of a football field in the sky to my left. i saw the light being attacked by what looked like toy planes shooting at the object (2 planes)then smoke. after that it was gone but the light dimmed in the smoke as it left. i felt the object fled so fast and with the light so bright that light was traveling slower than the object itself. i was in the fast lane cars were stopped at this point. the year was between 1986 and 1993. i called the the news station and got nowhere but caught only a glimpse of what they had to say about it 5 days later. i only heard them say the bright light in the sky. in my heart i honestly believe i witnessed a UFO sighting and feel strongly that military was trying to shoot it down. it was so shocking to see that it stuck with me all these years. i even have told my children about it. i wish i could remember the date but it was only who i was with and where i was at and the incident. i never reported this to anyone in writing because i didn’t want to be called crazy. i’m much older now and i know what i saw. if at all possible i’m sure someone has documented this and i hope they saw those tiny planes as well because i would very much like to read all of what they saw and compare it to what i saw. also, i would really like to know the date. thank you for your time. pk

leaving Van Buren area on 91 frwy towards 60 frwy, before they connect.
1. just picked up boyfriend from work. 2. the area lit up very fast.
3. UFO. but had to watch it to confirm what i thought. 4. i felt it left fast. 5. my boyfriend and i talked for some time about it afterwards. 6. the object flew the opposite of towards us because the light dimmed away from us. NO PHOTOS EVER TAKEN. 1 WITNESS, NAME GIVEN IF NEEDED TO MUFON ONLY. I don’t recall hearing any sound at all from the object. i really don’t remember any sound at all.
Date: 23June2011
Time 2210 -2225
Place: Intersection of HWY 79 and HI 35, and southward travel (on my way to work ).
Event: As I turned onto the southbound feeder road I observed a white blinking light in the sky. It pulsed rapidly 4 times, then a short pause, then pulsed 4 times again it was this blinking that drew my attention to the lights. It seemed to be in the Flight Path for ABIA but the strange pattern of the flashing made me want to check and see if it was. After merging onto HI 35 Southbound I looked for the light again, I located it and observed it was traveling on a SSW course and I expected it to turn as does all Air Traffic but the lights did not follow the Air Traffic pattern but instead continued SSW. At this time I was driving under HWY 45 (Toll), after passing under the overpass I noted the position angle from me to the lights at position angle 3. Again I noted that the lights flashed in a burst of 4, no other colored lights ever showed during my entire observation of this ?object?. At approximately 2220 I observed the lights change from a single flashing light to three flashing lights. They would start on the left pulse 4 times, then the ?original? lights (center ones) would flash 4 times, then there would be 4 pulses on the right. The distance between the 3 lights appeared to be from wing tip to wing tip of a commercial airliner that I frequently observe on the flight path to ABIA. At approximately 2225 I lost track of the lights as they faded into the distance / I prepared to exit the Hwy.
Being a trained observer (OS1, trained the Lookouts aboard ship / Sea Combat Air Controller, controlled various aircraft while they preformed their missions.)I watch the Air Traffic in the area… and wish I was controlling aircraft again. When I first observed the single flashing light I thought it may be a helicopter or a plane making an approach to ABIA. When I looked again it had not made the turn that Air Traffic does during their approach to the Airport nor did I observe any other colored lights. When the other white lights began flashing I had the impression that they ran in a single line across the back of something in the air. To me they seemed to be ?tail lights?, for lack of a better description.
I have never observed lights of this nature before and I am left wondering just what I observed flying in a SSW direction over Austin, Texas on this night.
I told the dispatcher was looked liked a landing light that was way to low made a high speed turn to the north then you could see about 8 to 10 in a tight formation. kept going north till out of sight. the news the next day said it was self propelled space junk. BS!
