Time: Just past 8:00 a.m.
Hello, I live in Abbotsford, BC and I was chatting on the phone this morning just past 8:00 a.m.
I hung up the phone and was looking outside my patio window towards HWY 1 and Mount Baker.
At first I thought I was looking at three large black birds flying together in the distance, but I realized the objects were too big to be birds flying together in a triangle type formation.
I kept watching until they crested the mountain in the distance and disappeared. I’m not sure what the three objects were, but from where I was standing they looked crescent shaped.
The objects looked to be gliding through the air together so smoothly at a moderate speed. If anyone else happened to see the same objects and can confirm what they were I would love to know since I’m curious to know. Sincerely.

Dear Sir, while doing research found your information. I did read your article about the Toronto UFO in 1980.
My husband and I saw the same thing and it has really bothered me throughout the years.
We were living in a apartment in Mississauga at that time. I think we were on the 9th floor,we had put the children to bed and gone onto the balcony for a smoke it was a very cold evening as I recall.
I looked up to see a huge object in the sky, there was no sound and I recall thinking it was projected onto the sky. It did have large white lights and it was oblong.
Anyhow I wondered if you could tell the person who also saw it also they are not crazy. So glad I found your report. Thank you.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Weird falling object over Cranbrook BC, East Kootenays area.
Hi there, I was trying to Google to see if there was any news on what I saw fall out of the sky.
A friend and myself were standing outside in Cranbrook, B.C. facing north toward Kimberly B.C. We observed a large object and very bright blue in color, seeming to be glowing on the outer edge between green and blue.
The object seemed to be going straight down towards the ground .
It seemed to be sort of florescent, it also was moving very fast, it was not like any shooting star I had ever seen before as it seemed to have no fiery tail behind it.
It was round in shape and very bright blue color in the center, but seemed to be glowing on the outer edge between blue and green.
The object was very large in size. Distance seemed to be 20 miles away but hard to tell as it was moving very fast and straight down on a slight angle to the left (west) and we observed it from Cranbrook so it was north of us towards Kimberley, B.C.
It was not going across the sky like other meteors I have seen before with a tail behind it.
It was bright looking with bluish/green color on outer edge and bright blue through the rest. As I explained and it was going pretty fast. We observed it for about 3 to 4 seconds.
We were expecting to hear a big bang or something. As it seemed to heading towards land, but we lost sight of it as it got closer to the ground we lost view of because of the mountains, It was silent. Strangest thing I’ve ever seen.
It was not like any falling object I have observed in the past from time to time seeing what most call falling stars. Just curious if anyone had seen this object. Also if any idea what it could have been. Thank you.

I received a report that two children saw a large UFO on January 8, 2013, at about 5:30 pm. The location was Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia, about 40 minutes east of Dartmouth.
The two, a boy, 10 years old and a girl, 7, had been sledding (or “coasting,” as they call it there) on some small hills near their homes when they suddenly saw a very large object coming towards them, flying low over trees south of their position.
They said they heard a beeping noise which caused them to look up, and that’s when they saw the object that was “shaped like a massive hotel,” and “like a big ball.” Although it was already dusk, there was enough light that they could see the black colour of the object. It had several yellow lights on its body, “two in front, a couple on the sides and some in the back,” as well as two “brown legs sticking out from the bottom.” In addition, there was a “gun” sticking out of the left side of the object’s midsection.
The boy drew the following sketch of the object:
Apparently, there was some kind of windows on the surface of the object.
Both children were scared, and said they “started shaking” when the strange craft approached. The older of the two children said they watched it for about two minutes, “then it was gone… zoom!” It apparently flew up and out of sight behind some trees and was lost to sight.
The young girl drew the following:
I managed to speak with the boy’s mother, who explained that she believes her son saw something, but told him “You better be telling the truth!” She said he is not prone to making up stories or telling lies, and that he seemed to be serious.
She took his story so seriously, in fact, that she contacted the RCMP, which dispatched two officers to their house. The boy’s mother said she was impressed that her son’s story “didn’t change at all,” implying that he had really seen something odd and that he was not simply making up a story in coercion with his friend.
Investigation is pending.
