Many months ago, an Australian news corporation asked to see the Australian government's UFO documents. Almost all of the files had vanished, according to the public response from the Australian Department of Defense.

Upon exiting my garage to enter the house, I stepped onto my back stoop. I looked up and to my right toward the northern sky (I’m not certain what drew my attention) and then immediately I observed three bright amber orbs in an isosceles triangle formation. Only sky was apparent between the orbs. The triangle/orbs slowly, silently moved roughly W-NW in the direction of US 41. The object(s) were north of my location at an indeterminate distance in the sky, although the size of the triangle form suggested a relatively low-flying orbs or very massive if a high-flying ‘solid’ craft; I could not discern which. The triangle shape seemed tilted, perhaps 15-20 degrees, with the northern-most orb lower. I called to my wife and sister-in-law, whom were in the house, to come out and see. We observed the orbs for a brief period, perhaps no more than thirty seconds, while the orbs gradually (perhaps 6-7 seconds per orb), individually dimmed and seemed to “go out” beginning with the most distant, followed by the “front”, narrow end, and finally the ‘closest’. The orbs did not stop their slow W-NW movement during this period. I walked a short distance down the alley behind the house because a large tree obscured my vision of the sky within which the object(s) would have moved if they had followed the same trajectory after going out; however, I saw only stars. There was no sign of the object(s), no contrails, smoke, vapor, clouds, only stars. Despite the brevity of this sighting, these orbs did not appear to be conventional aircraft, stars, planets, flares, fireworks or distant lights from structures. There was smoke, no differential intensity of light besides the controlled dimming effect, and they did not seem to lose altitude or distortion of overall shape. The orbs moved in conjunction as if attached to a solid triangular shape or as if flying in a steady formation. I had no unusual sensations or thoughts during the sighting, only curiosity and then astonishment. I did not have time to grab my camera or cell phone to get a picture.

While by the high school sports complex,I observed a bright yellow ball of light to the west ascend into the air at about a 50 degree angle, like a plane taking off. The first thought that came to mind was that it was a plane because of the angle of ascent. I then changed my mind because saw now flashing red light, nor did I hear any sound whatsoever. I could tell that it was not yet at a high altitude because it was against the mountain, not the sky, at first. It climbed in a south-easterly direction. When it seemed to be at a steady altitude, it changed direction, heading east. It cleared the valley in a about 15 to 20 seconds, pulsated very slowly about three times, and disappeared. To say the least, I felt a rush of excitement and confusion at the same time.

The weather was clear but hazy due to high humidity – temp was approx 70 and the air was calm/still. I arrived home just before 9.30 PM after spending the afternoon in my canoe on the river. I was disconnecting the trailer off my truck when a firework went off in the sky which I glanced up at. Two dots caught my attention and I thought they were part of the firework “burst” but then I realized they were not fading nor moving. They appeared almost to the due East of my location and were approx 45 degrees inclination to the horizon. I have quite a wide experiance with aviation and amatuer astronomy and expected the dots to eventually turn like a plane would if it was heading straight towards or away from you but they remained in the same position. The dots were about the same brightness as the brighest star but larger than a star and not a clear white “dot” but fuzzy and an orange color – maybe 3 or 4 times the diameter of a star – perhaps the size of a matchstick head held at arms length. The dots were not a clear white light like navigation lights and there was no strobe affect that you would see from nav lights – during the whole sighting several different aircraft traversed the sky and this was unlike any of them. I continued to watch them for perhaps a minute and realized that this was different from anything I have ever seen and went to my truck to get my cell phone to video it. By the time I got back (maybe 20 seconds) they had both disappeared. I figured it was something “strange” and went back to taking the trailer off my truck. I looked up again after a couple of minutes and there was one dot – the same size, intensity and color as before in approximately the same location. This I captured on tape. You will see in the video 2 bright lights at the bottom of the frame – those are deck lights on houses approx 50 yards from where I was standing – the unexplained dots are in the mid frame. While I was taping the lights two of my neighbors walked by going to watch the fireworks and I asked them if they could see the lights (you can hear part of our conversation on the tape). They said they could see the same thing and they had been watching them for about the same time as I had. They also said they had both never seen anything like it. After a few minutes the dot blinked out again. My neighbors walked off to watch the fireworks which started and lasted for about 25 minutes. After the fireworks were over for 5 minutes or so I again saw 2 dots the same size, color etc as before in the same location which I captured on the second video – they moved a small amount towards the North East but I only realized that after reviewing the video and seeing their position in relationship to the 2 lights on my neighbors houses. After a few minutes they blinked out again seperately within approximately 15 seconds of each other. Again after a few minutes one appeared the same size, brightness, location which was also witnessed by my same neighbors returning home who I had talked to earlier and again they agreed it was very unusual and they have “never seen anything like it” after a few minutes it “blinked” out meaning it disappered and reappeared and disappeared again over the course of 5 to 10 seconds. I continued to watch the sky for 15 minutes or so and then went into the house. During the whole episode I felt excited about what I was seeing and at no time did I feel fear or apprehension – the lights seemed very distant although I cannot give an altitude – I would say they were in our atmosphere but that is just a guess. These lights were many times brighter than satellites which I have seen crossing the sky before. I consider myself to be level headed, practical, logical and not prone to the dramatic or speculation. I have no idea what the lights were but I have never seen anything like it before.

We went to the fireworks display for the July 4th celebration. We parked about a mile away from the display that was set to start at 9pm in the northeastern sky, in a grassy area just off a street facing the eastern sky. We arrived at approx. 8:45pm. There we actually two sightings that occurred. Just before the fireworks were to start at approx. 8:55pm I looked to the southern sky and saw what I thought was an airplane with landing lights on, but it looked like it was on fire! It was a red fireball that seemed to hoover, not advancing to land or taking off in a direction. Hoovering. It was from where we were standing the size of 2-3 stars put together. No sound. It was hoovering for about 30 sec. then I and my husband looked to the east sky and there was another object that looked identical to the one in the southern sky probably about 1/2 mile apart from each other. Again hoovering. We looked back at the one in the southern sky and the fireball started moving towards the west and before our eyes disappeared. Looked back to the eastern sky and that object slowly started moving toward the northern sky and all the sudden disappeared. About 5 minutes later the fireworks started and lasted for about 25 mins. No sightings during the display. About 3 min. after the finale of the fireworks we were getting back into the car and was looking at the southern sky again and the object reappeared at the same spot it was last seen when it disappeared. A red fireball, no sound. My husband used his iphone to take a video of it, but not able to see anything when we tried to play it back. The fireball slowly started moving to the west again, but it was in slow motion. It was there for about 3 min. It seemed to just burn out or disappear again. Never seen anything like this in my life.
