“The U.S. Army’s Long Endurance Multi-Intelligence Vehicle (LEMV) flew for the first time from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., on Aug. 7. The air vehicle was airborne for more than 90 minutes during its initial flight. LEMV is built by Northrop Grumman with major subcontractor Hybrid Air Vehicle.”
Not a speed demon but…
Military plans are to use the LEMV as a reconnaissance vehicle, jam packed with electronic surveillance equipment and set to enter live trials in Afghanistan, in 2013.

Me and my friends were at the terrace of my friends house just for some air, when one of my friend named Kevin saw it for the first time. it was reddish orange in colour and blinking. My other friend said that may be a plane or a helicopter. But as we knew plane flying in night gave white light which looked like flurescent. and helicoptor could not fly as fast as it could have . We just decided to take video of it and i took my mobile phone with camera and tried to take the film but while zooming i took picture of it and took video for about 11 seconds. then suddenly it hovered just at one place and dissappeared. After that we discussed about it and with in 5 or so minutes other 2 same kind of object started to came from the same direction. they both had the same colour and the blinking effect with the same velocity of speed as the one of before. so we started taking videos which lasted for about 2 min and 24 secs. As, i have been watching documentaries about UFO sightings and as the characteristics of the above objects showed the same characteristics i’ve seen and heared in the UFO documentaries, we decided they must be UFOs. we were very much excited as known to us. here in my country there arent much UFO enthusiastic and we saw it on the first hand. the video we have taken havent much details as it was taken by low quality of mobile phone camera and zoomed till the last. but the picture i’ve taken showed what we saw, as i zoomed it through photoshop it was amazing to see what we saw yesterday night.

On a morning with blue skies and only a few white clouds, but otherwise a crystal clear day, I thought I saw a blimp flying overhead, but there was something odd about it. There was no ad on it, normally I see HOOD blimps, but this was plain so I looked again more closely. I am nearsighted so maybe I just was not seeing it correctly, but it did not seem wide enough to be a blimp and it did not seem to have a cabin underneath it, nor the little tail pieces that normally stick out the back. I thought at first of a white pill capsule the way it was so rounded out but with a shadow in the middle like it had been cut a little but still connected, but in some way, it was more cigar shaped the way that one end was somewhat thicker than the other. It almost did not seem to be moving, but maybe it was just moving slowly, I can not be sure since I was not still at the time. I had to stare at it for a minute to take it in but after turning away for a moment, looking back, I could not spot it again. I will reiterate that I am nearsighted and it was first thing in the morning for me and it happened too quickly for me to even think of recording it before it was gone from sight. So there is not much to go on other than it was essentially a crystal clear day and I know what blimps look like and after a first glance I was no longer certain that it was one. I will have my doubts as much as the next person, but the part of me that questioned what I saw is what brought me here, but I’d like to go about my life as normal, as though it was nothing. I do not want to get wrapped up in conspiracies and beliefs in otherworldly beings so I would like to remain anonymous. I just thought it would be good to post this in case anyone else had seen it and also thought it seemed strange. I am attaching a picture of a foam pillow that looks a bit like a pill like I described. It is not exactly what it looked like but it should do. Thank you for reading.

“Last night around 10pm my boyfriend came to pick me up from my parents house in Brandon, Fl. As we wer…e driving away i noticed a red pulsing light in the sky behind the tree line, i didnt think much of it because it was probably just a radio tower. As we made it past the tree line i noticed that is was not only one red pulsing light but two red pulsing lights accompanied by a green light that pulsed between the pauses of red. It was moving rather quickly across the sky in a sweeping motion covering about a 2-3 mile distance every time it changed direction. I was ecstatic and made my boyfriend turn the car around to go back as i didn’t want to loose sight of it. He made a u-turn and pulled into a gas station parking lot and i jumped out of the car. It was very low in the sky and passed directy over my head. It looked to me like it was blimp shaped, def. was NOT a airplane or a chopper as i would have been able to discern at that distance. It was accompanied by noise, kind of like and airplane would make but not as loud as i think it should of been given the close proximity to me. My boyfriend saw it, he did not think it was unusual and told me it was probly just a blimp. I did not know blimps could move that quickly or fly that low. As soon as it passed me overhead we got back into the car to continue our trip across the bridge to St Petersburg, Florida. As we are driving on I-75 my eyes are to the sky, still stunned by what i had just seen when i noticed in the distance a STROBING white light. Now i grew up on airforce bases and KNOW what the lights on a plane look like, this was not the case. This light was flashing continuously FAST. I kept my eyes on it and was excitedly telling my boyfriend what i was seeing he didnt see it because he didn’t want to take his eyes off the road. It started getting closer and closer to us travelling perpendicular to our car. I rolled down my window to see if i could hear anything or get a closer look, i did not hear any noise coming from it but did happen to catch what looked like a dark triangular shadow beneath the light. It passed over top of the car and i lost sight of it. It reappeared on the driver side yet this time it was a steady red ball of light; my boyfriend saw this. I remember feeling an overwhelming sense of happiness and love. I was not scared just very excited!

I stepped out back to have a smoke and noticed light through the trees of the apartments behind my home. I first thought it was fireworks, but as I stepped off my back porch I could see it was an oval of light. The craft was heading west very low, silent and moving slowly. It had an odd glow to it so, I thought it looked like it could of been projected onto the could cover. I decided that I have read too many conspiracy theories about chemtrails and dismissed the idea of a it being a projection. Just a bit after 7:00 pm. What I saw was an elliptical circle of solid white light with two large red lights centered on top and on bottom of the craft. It was rather big. I would say if you held a fist at arms length it was be as long as the widest part of your fist. The light was bright but seemed softened and glowing against the cloud cover. The craft was less than 1/2 a mile away and as low as a helicopter or lower. It looked to be just east of the I17 freeway and about a mile south of the interchange to the 101 freeway. My view was intermittently blocked by the large trees behind our home. I had seen a blimp a couple of days beforehand. Thinking that it could be a blimp, I ran through the house telling my children and husband to come quick and look. We all went out and my husband saw a gimps of it. Of course, he decided it was a blimp. He lifted our son onto his shoulders and the boy was able to get a good look at it. Unfortunately my other child couldn’t see it, as it was too far west and was then being blocked by buildings. The sighting lasted less than 5 min.
I have never seen a blimp lit up this way. I have seen plenty of blimps at night and they always are lit in the center and displaying some sort of advertisement. If a blimp were to display a solid ring of light on it’s side around the add space…well the size and shape would match. This had no light in the middle of the ring and no adds. I just saw the MetLife blimp this morning as it passed close by. The size, shape, speed and altitude were similar to what I saw last night. I also noticed that even in the daytime I could see the green positioning light and also the white strobe on the bottom of the cabin. I saw no FAA required lights on the craft last night. As I looked at the blimp today I could envision how the ring of light would fit on the side of it but the large red light on top and bottom would be almost as big as the cabin underneath. I don’t know how they could of had such a large red light on the top of the blimp. The craft last night was very obvious and looked stereotypically like an old Hollywood saucer.
So, was there a blimp in north Phoenix last night just after seven and do they ever fly at night lit up like a flying saucer with no advertisement display? There were quite a few small planes in the air at the time we saw the oval of light. I called Deer Valley Airport today and they only suggested I call back when the operator that was on last night is there tonight. I searched the web to see if anyone else saw a ufo or blimp in the area, but found nothing. I also tried looking for pictures of blimps at night and got nowhere.
