The guy who rapes a child is looking at life too! But judges normally only give the maximum to violent REPEAT offenders!
The REAL truth is our prisons here don’t have the room to house all of our violent criminals, much less the white collar ones. With plea bargaining agreements, not many of our white collar criminals ever even see the inside of a prison.
IF Gary is found guilty, I’d be very surprised if he got more than 5 years, and shocked if he was required to serve more than 2.

First of all, I’ll be very surprised if this guy gets more than 5 years! That 70 years you’re spouting is completely unrealistic! Hacker Kevin Mitnick did a whole lot more, and only served a whopping 5 years in jail, and only a few months of that was AFTER his conviction! And he’d have probably served a whole lot less if he had just confessed!
So you can knock your self-pitying BS off at any time now.

What’s worse, peaceful protesters who protested the Republican National Convention have been arrested and tortured by the police for charges that are totally unconstitutional; however, protesters protesting the Democratic National Convention have NOT been arrested, as they are furthering the agenda of our government.
The whole Gary McKinnon extradition issue is entirely about our tyrannical government flexing it’s muscles and showing the American people that it is more than willing (dare I say eager) to punish people gratuitously and against the “spirit of the law”. McKinnon is being extradited not because he did something wrong, but because he didn’t completely acquiesce to the authority of the Bush Administration.
Here we are – June 9. 2009. This man, a computer hacker, faces life in an American jail.
What kind of world are we in, when a ‘man’ who rapes a child gets 8 years, and Gary Mackinnon is looking at life.
