Author: I was in my house and received a phone call from a friend telling me to go outside. I went outside and looked in the sky and there was what, at first, appeared to be a plane. It was flashing but the light kept changing colors. It did not move in the sky. We (my friend and I) got in my car and started driving towards it, soon realizing that its location was too far away to reach. We turned around and returned to my house. It was still in the sky (It was way too high to be a tower. It wasn’t moving so it was not a plane. It was flashing different colored lights so it was not a star or meteor).

It was a fucking star.
I seen the same thing except for the one i seen did in fact move in sparatic horizontal patterns. It flashed colors like red, blue, green, yellow, and purple. It is not a star and people have tried to ask NASA about it and they have tried to dismiss and disclaim all comments. I wish I knew what this is. And several other people have commented about seeing the same thing. So Feyomi, you may want to do some research before you open your mouth about something your oblivious to.
i see these things in Ontario Canada Alllll the time , No idea as to what they are , they act like stars as far as movement but stars dont flash colors like these thing …..IMO prolly harmless E.T. craft.
all my life ive taken time to stare at stars ive traveled to many countries and was mesmerized by how beautiful and how there seemed to be endless not any more on most nights i can count them last night at a lake with my telescope i seen objects inside star patterns ive watched move in different directions tonight it almost seems there more visible to the eye and unbelievable amounts of light changing inside the pattern and yes there are 2 what at first i beleived to be a plane or helicopter and yet silent always flying low running same direction every night into the next morning and seeing them thru both binoculars and my mead backpack 600 telescope i know there not a plane or a helicopter you have to see it to beleive it but what does a person now do or what can u do with this because running for the mountains and collecting ammo i dont think will do any good considering there in our sky and everyone ive talked to blows it off thinking more about this economy and how they will never get to have it so good buying useless throw away items that has nothing to do with creating or helping make society better for our what i worry may even be our speceices apparently they must have overcame the me me me attitude seeing that if im not going nuts there is an armada above us for reasons unknown unless hollywood has been telling us or maybe it took them to destroy there planet we have to realize material possesions weve been killing ourselves our planet our humanity will never sustain life when the power goes out gas stops being available all of it is useless or maybe its to late
I am actually sitting outside right now with my laptop and watching the stars, and I see the exact same thing and I seen it last night too. This time, it is in a different part of the sky. I know for a fact that it is not a satellite.
I am in NW Arkansas and saw this multicolored thing too. Looks like red, green, and white lights blinking on it through a binoculars. It’s in the SW sky right now (10 pm cst). Saw it two nights ago, too cloudy last night, but it’s there again tonight. Almost like airplane lights but it doesn’t move like a plane, it’s stationary like a star/planet. I don’t know much about astronomy can someone please tell me what the heck it could be.
I live in Kentucky, and right now I can see five of them right now. They flash white/yellow, green and red. and they don’t move what so ever.
YES YES YES!!! Finally others that see what I see! I started seeing them around the first of the year down in Satsop, WA. All around the nuclear plant. They appeared to be something of a rolling ball of flashing multiple colors. They were pretty active out there in Satsop and I saw alot of activity. Pretty soon it became clear that the flashing lights were a form of communication. I don’t know how I know this…I just know. So every night, no matter where I was (my head was always sore from looking up)…I would always see at least one above me. I just recently moved about 150 miles from where I was living and was fearful I wouldn’t see them anymore. But strange as it may seem…they are still with me! I have this strange sense of connection with them now and my boyfriend thinks I’m nuts! Oh well, LOL maybe I am. But boy do I have stories!
I have been seeing these “strobing” stars since August this year (2011) and they are still a mystery to me. I have searched the internet only to find that the ones that think they know usually have some smart ass answer and are always wrong. I read on this thread, Misti’s comment where she said that people have been asking NASA about these only to get a lame answer or none at all. What are they hiding from us? I would love to know what these are. When I look at them, I feel as though I am seeing something supernatural and that they are saying something to me. I look at them with a cheap 100mm telescope and I am mesmerized by them. Anyone at all know what they are yet? I would love to know and so would many others.
I am looking at the same thing right now. I live in liverpool england and I have been watching it for 2 hrs maybe it could be a some kind of nasa shuttle
i observed same thing last week. i think march 22,2012. i rceived phone call from friend in a close city told me he was looking at something looked like a plane but wasnt moving. it was twinkling or flickering with red blue green colors. i saw one larger star and two smaller ones. i loaded up my kids and tried to drive to a better spot to observe with no luck.
I see the same thing every night at work. It suddenly appears in the sky out of nowhere it stays in the same place blinking different colors. Then it just vanishes. It appears around 10:30-11:00 pm every night in around the same area. It looked like it was over Exeter NH at first but when I get on 101 heading West towards home, it looks to be over the Kingston, Epping area. It makes no sound, doesn’t move and when it disappears it just vanishes. I have no idea what it could be, so I did this search and found this post and many others regarding the same thing.
Between 2006 and 2007(can’t remember the exact date) I was with my boyfriend at the time going for a late night walk just after dinner. It was a clear night as well. I spotted a shooting star(so I tought) comming towords us. Then it stoped just above us. It was like a star but was flashing blue, red, yellow and purple(kinda like the plains do but in difrent directions). I remember this the other day and immediatly called my now ex-boyfriend just to make sure it wasn’t a dream! I was so happy when he said he remembers the same thing! This took place in a small island of Portugal called Madeira.
Last night i saw the same thing but not just one there were about 15. There even two big ones. All twinkling\flashing multi-colours like blue, red & orange. They don’t move at all tho. They can’t be stars theres to many of them & they way too close. Im gonna look again tonight hopefully i can take a decent photo or video. If they seem closer tonight im gonna start to worry. HAHA
