Roswell is a 1994 television movie based on the alleged true story from the testimony of hundreds of witnesses about the US military recovery of a flying saucer and its alien crew following a crash near the town of Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. This film was produced by Paul Davids and is credited by some[by whom?] to have put the Roswell UFO incident in the mainstream media. The script was based specifically on the book by Kevin D. Randle and Donald R. Schmitt, UFO Crash at Roswell.
