Lucas: “So it almost seems like this object/spiral may be sapping energy from the sun.”
As Lucas stated the sun was just about to rise and the blue beam of the spiral was aimed in that direction, and that “some electrical or plasma interaction between the object/spiral and our sun” occurred.
