I’m a skeptic about aliens, but this was rather strange. I was at the entrance of Joshua Tree’s national park with my brother and he spotted three lights in a diagonal line over the town. These lights where much bigger and brighter than the town’s lights. The three lights would change..one going off, one turning back on, or two disappearing. I did see one of those lights in the sky about 2 hours prier to this video, but it was closer to us and I didn’t think much of it. Near the end of this video the middle light fades out and the lights never come back on. We stayed at the park entrance for about an hour and a half and they never turned back on. I used a flip video camera so it couldn’t zoom in very well and it’s pretty blurred sorry. I just thought this would be interesting to post. Maybe someone who lives there can tell me what I saw..a UFO…or just some lights…..Oh yea I watched some videos with the phoenix lights and these lights looked the exact same as those except there in Ca.

At approximately 7:30 pm on March 13, 1997, tens of thousands of US Westeners witnessed a strange series of lights in the night sky. Some say the lights were that of an alien spacecraft, large enough to block out the star speckled sky it moved slowly across the sky for over 300 mi. from the Nevada line to the edge of Tucson, AZ. Former Arizona Governor Fife Symington III made an initial statement at a following press conference that “they found who was responsible”. He then poked fun at the incident by bringing his aide up to stage dressed in an alien costume, wearing handcuffs. Several years later CNN covers a story where a now business man with no further political coaching, Symington states he believes the phenomena was indeed extra-terrestrial in nature and that his initial response was that of a responsible leader with concerns of wide spread panic. On March 13, 1997; tens of thousands of witnesses saw a series of strange and unidentified lights in the western sky. The incident became notoriously known as “The Phoenix Lights” and was accepted by ufologists worldwide as undeniable proof of extra-terrestrial existence. From the Nevada line all the way to Tucson, Arizona (over 300 mi. in distance), the mysterious craft slowly made its way across the sky capturing the attention of many confused and nervous americans. Governor Fife Symington III immediately held a press conference stating “They found who was responsible” proceeded to make light of the incident by bringing his aide up to center stage in costume to look like an alien in handcuffs. Years later, a now business man with no political pressures or coaching, Symington admits to have believed the phenomena to be extra-terrestrial in nature. He claims that his initial response was that of a concerned governor with his american people’s safety in mind. With fear of panic and hysteria, he decided to meet the subject with and humor to reassure his public not to worry.
