No doubt, in the Action Role Playing Game register, one of the most ambitious game created, produced and published in the last decade… An outstanding & vertiginous gaming experience (released in 2000 on PC and in 2002 on PlayStation 2, the version – then renamed ‘Deux Ex: The Conspiracy’ – this cinematic is coming from) brilliantly mixing First Person Shooter and Role Playing Game genres… A gorgeous, unforgettable performance, an unequaled achievement… An amazing gaming performance, that we mainly owe to Warren Spector & Harvey Smith, proposing a truly opulent background (really pertinently conceived & written), a gripping storyline, nicely nuanced characters, plentiful & smart dialogues and, most of all, offering a clever & fabulous alternative (still present and unique) to common FPS productions.
