Author: I was sitting outside and looking towards the sky when suddenly I saw a meteor falling. Problem is that it was bright blue. I stood up because it was so bright I thought there may be an impact. As I got up I saw the light climbing back into the sky. Straight up. I then thought it was someone shooting fireworks until it started moving abnormally and then started moving off to the North. At this time I ran into the house and got my wife, who also observed the object as it was moving off in a north, northwest direction. There were no other color or flashing lights or sounds, and it was very blue in color. The most remarkable thing was the rate of decent and ascent. It was moving as quickly as a meteor at first until it dropped out of sight behind the houses across the street. As it rose back into the sky it was moving erratically, then moved off almost straight and level. I estimate this object to have appeared approximately two miles from my position.
I’m still not sure I believe my own eyes, save for the fact my wife observed the object as well. It will be interesting to see if anyone else saw anything out there tonight. I know there were several airplanes in the vicinity and should have been able to see the object.

Yes! I did! But it was more like a blanket of light. It set off car alarms and house alarms, about 6 or 7 were going off in just my street alone. Also there was a grinding noise every now and then when the light would get brighter. It was not just me that seen this, multiple friends that live within my area also experienced this.
Weird, I saw almost the same exact thing. I wasn’t even looking for it, I was outside in my apartment balcony drinking a beer. My city doesn’t have many skyscapers so its not difficult to see the stars. I was out on my balcony just looking up at the clouds and the swaying palm trees in my apartment complex when out of no where, I just saw a bright bright blue light shooting down from the sky… my first impression was “holy shit!!! a shooting star or meteor falling”. The only strange thing about it was that the object was blue. Blue like the bluetooth light on wireless phone earpieces. I too stood up expecting a huge crash or explosion since whatever it was it was falling at incredible speed. I had seen helicopters around the same area earlier in the day, and this “thing” i saw was moving about 10 times or more faster than the helicopters I had seen. I live in laredo, tx and was facing south at the moment. I wonder if it happened in mexico and if alot of people also saw…for a minute I thought I was hallucinating but I’m a very sane person and have never suffered from deliriousness.
I was changing the radio while driving at 10:30 p.m. and I noticed that the the whole inside of my car started lighting up with blue light as bright as the sun. I looked up and saw a large blue ball falling from the sky. It kept falling and the ground just absorbed it. It was unbelievable. I live in Texas too.
Late winter 2010-2011, i was on my way home from work just outside of little silver nj, and i saw what looked like something on fire (blue fire) falling from the sky, and i never heard anything about it after that? any ideas?
I saw this also right now! 15/03/2012 2:00 AM i was looking THE BIG BANG THEORY on my pc, then i saw it directly from my window in front of me, was like a firework , but it changed speeds! it appeared slowly and then it gain an awesome speed and it went down! towards the earth… no sound at all or smooke or light trail. I m still amazed! and its 15 minutes ago it happened.
Exactly location is Tarragona, Spain, light was moving towards south direction.
