It is fansinating! How could the ancient people of India who fought with only swords and bows have a vision of modern weapon technology of 21st century? Even the people in the Startrek era could not imagine correctly how fast human will advance in wireless communiation technology with big inventions like the Iphones, is it E.T or what?
@natedog101591 remember. in each episode they always say “maybe” “what if” “possible”, etc. All of these keywords extend to say that there’s a chance this would have happen but it’s mainstream belief mankind was the one who discovered fire. But who really knows?

Watch the oldest science fiction movie “Metropolis” from 1927. That movie has a very basic social and physical understanding what the future will bring, so had the ancients – but it still couldn’t anticipate our electronical time, everything is mechanic. Same goes for the ancient cultures. Their imagination of future weaponary is bound to what they see and know. There’s nothing special on imagining attacking from air with explosives. They knew birds and they knew fire. Easy conclusion.

Our ancestors could only store sound and video on a magnetic tape, but all of a sudden there was a shine disc of which information could be read with a laser. what “alien” is gonna give a bunch of barely evolved men a bunch of highly advanced weapons to kill each other with? why not give people highly advanced MEDICINE, books about how the universe REALLY got started, why not give people COMPUTERS? why not build highly advanced HOSPITALS? why give people who LOVE making war WEAPONS? nope – don’t buy it. JUST stories based on wishful, magical thinking, that is all.
