Date: 06-08-10 Host: George Noory Guests: Kathleen Marden, Stanton Friedman Science’s Mistakes & Hill Case Former nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman and social scientist Kathleen Marden discussed their research into the 1961 Betty & Barney UFO abduction case, as well as various examples throughout history when scientists misjudged or ignored scientific evidence or breakthroughs. Friedman cited how early proponents for nuclear cold fusion were hounded out of their jobs, but now it’s been shown that this method may become a valid energy source. Marden talked about how the Eugenics movement in the United States once advocated for sterilizing convicted felons and their sons, who were thought to carry defective genetic traits. She also recounted the work of Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis, a Hungarian obstetrician in the 1800s who first introduced the idea that doctors should wash their hands with chlorinated lime before examining patients. While this dramatically reduced infections for women in the maternity ward, Semmelweis was called a charlatan and his antiseptic theory was debunked for many years. Marden also touched on the case of Natasha Demkina, the Russian “Girl with X-ray Eyes” who was brought to America and tested on a Discovery Channel special that aired in 2004. Demkina was a genuine medical intuitive, but the unfair protocols of the US testing led people to believe the case was a hoax, she detailed. Discovery takes a look at the possible Nazi involvement into some of the UFO sightings in Worl War II, and how it may play a role into todays sightings. UFO’s may indeed be highly secretive advanced designs taken from Germany following the war, and under the supervision of our government, scientists may have devloped futuristic Aircraft.
A look at some examples of possible alien encounters that have been documented in various historical texts, such as the 13th Century book Otia Imperialia which details a sighting of a strange creature descending from a flying craft over Bristol, England; the log entries of Christopher Columbus during his voyage to the Americas of strange lights in the sky; cigar-shaped craft seen over Europe during the Black Plague, and Medieval art that depicts disc-shaped objects floating in the heavens.
i was at work and outside taking our garbage out and i looked up to the west sky and i seen this object spinning around in the sky and it got faster and shot up through the cloud.it was a sunny day and not may clouds that day.i know it was not a plane or bird..it was weird,it was under a cloud,spinning and shot strait up above the cloud and it was gone.
